About

Toby (he/him) is a Czech-American filmmaker from Prague, based in Queens, NY. He primarily works across documentary and experimental film as a director, editor, and producer. His films focus on questions of power, technology, democracy, and image systems. He graduated from the State University of New York at Purchase College Film Conservatory in 2023. He is a co-founder of Queens-based film and video production company and collective Are We There Yet? Films, where he's also an in-house director, editor, and producer.
