I'm a video journalist and filmmaker based in Memphis, TN. I currently work for NPR as Supervising Editor for Visuals. At NPR, I've worked on the news side as well as for NPR Music. Before NPR, I co-founded 1504, a creative video studio now based in Birmingham, AL. Through 1504, our freelance clients included the National Endowment for the Arts, American Red Cross, Columbia Records and the Southern Foodways Alliance. I've served as a judge for College Photographer of the Year and Society of Publication Designers. I earned a masters in photojournalism at the Missouri School of Journalism.

The Video Consortium is a global nonprofit media organization that supports the world’s nonfiction filmmakers and video journalists to tell bold stories that change the world.
