About
Maya is a producer-director with over a decade’s experience in international news and documentaries, including for VICE News, the BBC, and Bloomberg Originals.
Her work has been recognised by some of the biggest awards in the business, including a Royal Television Society award, a Peabody, an Overseas Press Club of America award, and an Emmy – as well as a further four Emmy nominations and a BAFTA nomination.
Maya speaks five languages and has worked around the world, including in hostile environments (Ukraine, Haiti, Israel). She specialises in obtaining access to difficult places and stories, and making agenda-setting mid-form and long-form current affairs content.
