About
Matt Schuster currently serves as the Executive Director of Public Media Network in Kalamazoo, MI. A recognized leader in community media, Matt has led operations and programs across the country, including in Meridian Township, MI; Lake County, IL; Louisville, KY; and Santa Barbara, CA. He has earned over 25 national and regional awards for local programming and was honored with the prestigious Buske Leadership Award from the Alliance for Community Media in 2013.
With expertise as a producer, editor, director, graphic designer, and videographer, Matt has also shared his knowledge as an adjunct faculty member at Bellarmine University and Antioch College Santa Barbara. He holds a BA in Broadcast Cable Production and Environmental Studies from Western Michigan University and an MA in Telecommunication Media Arts from Michigan State University.
