Martina, a German/Syrian, based in NYC for more then 20 years, has been the cinematographer of award-winning documentaries, including Saving Face, the film was also the winner of the 2012 Academy Award, Inventing Tomorrow, The Final Year, The Family I Had, The Promised Band and Through A Lens Darkly. Since 2018, Martina is member of the Documentary Branch at the Academy. She is currently in post production for her first feature-length documentary, The Roar of a Lion Cub.
