About

Madeleine is an award-winning video producer who has worked in broadcast and digital production for over a decade. Her work as a video producer for the CNN Digital Video team focused on how every day people are impacted by decisions made in US public office. Its subjects ranged from immigration, health, gun control, climate, equality, religion, technology, business and politics. In 2017, Madeleine shot, produced, and edited a three-part series called “Beneath the Skin” about a mother who lost her son in a police-involved shooting. The story was awarded an NABJ Award and Eppy Award. That same year, Madeleine shot, produced and edited a digital interactive called “25 Influential American Muslims,” which was awarded a NAMIC Vision Award in 2019. In 2021, an animated series called “Life After,” that Madeleine produced, edited, and sound designed was awarded a Webby. For Madeleine, powerful non-fiction visual storytelling is one of the most important tools we have to educate, as well as to create empathy and understanding. She tries to bring that philosophy into all of her work.
