With more than two decades as a photojournalist and filmmaker, my passion for storytelling has taken me from the burning ghats of Varanasi, India, to a smuggler's tunnel in Nogales, Mexico. The power to tell a compelling story – to move hearts and minds – is my greatest strength. A documentary I made about a homeless man running from his demons and finding grace in unlikely place was shown in some of the country's most prestigious film festivals, and was later featured on the Dr. Phil Show before worldwide distribution. Other shorter film projects I produced have earned three Emmys, a national Addy, and various cinematography awards. My films and photojournalism career have taken me around the world and have earned dozens of national and international awards. During my newspaper career, I was twice named Scripps Howard Photographer of the Year. I live in the Greater Denver area and travel for much of my work. I welcome any assignments or inquiries.
