Jenn Halweil is an electrical engineer turned story engineer, and the founder of #GoBeyond, an educational media and tech innovation lab focused on pushing the boundaries of what we as humans know to be possible. From creating video content for astrophysicist Emily Levesque, about how she first discovered Thorne-Zytkow objects, to creating content with Pardis Sabeti about her sequencing Ebola, we are chasing stories of innovators who aren’t just shattering the glass ceiling, they’re completely redefining our understanding of the universe and our place in it. Jenn is an Emmy nominated Director / Executive Producer, a Forbes Next1000 recipient, and was featured in the female-led Marvel comic “The Unstoppable Wasp” as a real-life superhero. Additionally, she is a Luminary Fellow to advance equality in entrepreneurship, a Women in AI hackathon winner to advance equality in AI, and a member of the Producers Guild of America. The great thing about science and technology is that ability to change the world from what exists today to what is possible tomorrow. The more that we have women and underrepresented groups as part of that conversation in media the more resilient and inclusive a future we can build.
