Jelina is a Chinese-American filmmaker from the Bay Area. She has experience in both fictional & nonfiction storytelling, but now specializes in documentary filmmaking. Jelina is also passionate about socioeconomic and environmental justice and has experience in grassroots organizing. This passion informs her work, and she aims to tell stories that will inspire people to take action. In her spare time, Jelina likes to bake, watch movies, and explore. Her dream is to travel around the US in a van and interview people from every state.

The Video Consortium is a global nonprofit media organization that supports the world’s nonfiction filmmakers and video journalists to tell bold stories that change the world.
