Hannah Myers (she / her) is an award-winning Director and Filmmaker, bred in the Carolinas and based in New York City. She prefers to take all meetings around a late night bonfire. Hannah is a 2022 Gotham Week (formerly IFP) and DOC NYC selected filmmaker as well as 2022 Artpreneur Award Recipient. She is a Telluride Film Festival Student Symposium Alumni and annual staff member, commissioned filmmaker of Spare Part Films, and a member of Center for Independent Documentary. With roots in the theater, Hannah has worked closely on new play development with Soho Rep., The Bushwick Starr, Atlantic Theater Company, Lincoln Center, SPACE on Ryder Farm, SITI Company, Ensemble Studio Theater, 3DaysPrior, and Gibney Dance Center among others. Most recently, she led the first cast of SORRY (SITI Company), appeared on FBI (CBS), and Assistant Directed TWELFTH NIGHT (Old American Can Factory). Hannah holds a BFA in Drama from University of North Carolina School of the Arts as a Kenan Scholar. She works as the Grant Writer & Consultant at SPACE on Ryder Farm and Arbutus, David Byrne’s nonprofit. Co-Founder of Tiedyen4biden, a grassroots movement that raised $170,000 for Democratic campaigns during the 2020 election cycle. Hannah is passionate about collaborative, somatic storytelling that empowers women and other underrepresented voices. She is currently in production for her first feature documentary film, DADDY.
