About

Francisco Fagan is an award-winning director, producer, editor and cinematographer. His work has been featured internationally in media outlets including Time, PBS, Vox, the New Yorker, Al Jazeera, Channel 4 and BBC. For over six years, he was the primary consultant for documentary production at the organization Human Rights Watch, winning two Peabody awards and three Webby awards. In 2017 he created 108 FILMS with his partner Elena Testi. Originally from New Mexico and Colorado, he studied film at the University of Chicago and at New York University’s Graduate Film Program. He pursued further studies informally in Paris and with Stan Brakhage at the University of Colorado. A native of English, he also speaks fluent French and Italian.
