About

Ellie is a born and bred New Yorker, raised uptown in Washington Heights. She was always numbers and logistics focused, and graduated with a degree in Economics from the University of St Andrews in Scotland. Ellie describes herself as "creative-adjacent": she loves helping creatives bring their visions to life, running all the logistical elements to make that happen. Currently, she works as a Production Manager at Barnicle Brothers, an Emmy-award winning documentary company in NYC. Previously, she worked on shows that touched documentary, comedy, and drama including HBO's Wyatt Cenac's Problem Areas and The Gilded Age. On top of all that, she joined VC as the Community Manager in December 2020 and became the Director of Membership in 2023. She loves being a part of this community and facilitating connections and growth in the nonfiction space.
