About

Dylan Bank is a director, editor and cinematographer in New York City who's made seven feature films, ranging from horror to drama to political documentary. A graduate of Vassar College, his first movie was a psychosexual thriller called "Nightmare". After playing and winning horror film festivals across America and Europe, it was released by IFC in 2009. Bank went on to make a string of horror/thrillers, including the over-the-top "Scavenger Killers", starring Eric Robert, Robert Loggia, Dustin Diamond and Charles Durning. In 2016, Bank shot his first historical drama, "Price For Freedom", the amazing true story of a Jewish family fleeing Iran during the 1979 revolution, starring Paul Sorvino, Navid Neghaban and Sally Kirkland. In the 2017 Tribeca Film Festival, Bank premiered the Netflix Original Film "Get Me Roger Stone", which he co-directed and was lead DP, about America’s most infamous political dirty trickster, Roger Stone. In 2021, Bank won a “Silver Telly” award for editing and animating the fact-based motion comic, “Totally Under Control”, about America’s response to Covid.
