Alejandra Vasquez is a Mexican-American director and producer. She directed the short films "When It’s Good, It’s Good," supported by If/Then Shorts and Latino Public Broadcasting, and "Folk Frontera," winner of the SXSW Jury Award for Best Texas Short. As a producer, she recently worked on Us Kids (dir. Kim Snyder) and Matangi/Maya/M.I.A (dir. Steve Loveridge). Alex is at work on her directorial debut feature film, Going Varsity in Mariachi.
