She leads the organisation's Field Team, publishing short, impactful documentaries, reaching millions of viewers worldwide across YouTube and social media. Her team report stories from the ground, while Kat also oversees a global network of remote video journalists.

Kat's work has garnered widespread recognition, recently winning prestigious awards including a Peabody Award, a National News and Documentary Emmy, and an Edward R. Murrow Award for the team's powerful reporting from Gaza, in collaboration with the Palestinian journalist Bisan Owda.
