Welcome and introductions with our new co-lead, Nick Tommarello!

Nick is a graduate assistant at Point Park University's Center for Media Innovation where he collaborates with university students and members of the Pittsburgh Media Partnership. He's an advocate for local news and storytelling, and hopes to facilitate meaningful connections through VC Pittsburgh.

Representatives from WQED and the Pittsburgh Media Partnership will be in attendance.

How can we connect our local news media ecosystem to help amplify the voices of local nonfiction creatives and filmmakers? What are the challenges Pittsburgh nonfiction creatives have, and how can VC Pittsburgh help support? These are the conversations we hope to have at this gathering.
