Screening and Q&A with Emmy winning Thai doc director Pailin Wedel: The Trapped 13

Video Consortium Taipei is proud to host a screening of The Trapped 13, followed by a Q&A (over Zoom) with director, Pailin Wedel, where she will answer audience questions.

Pailin won her first Emmy in 2021 for the film, Hope Frozen; the first for any Thai documentary director. This year, she has been nominated for a second Emmy in the Outstanding Current Affairs Documentary category for her film, The Trapped 13: How We Survived The Thai Cave (available on Netflix).

The event will be free, and attendees are invited to hang out after the Q&A for refreshments and networking.

The Video Consortium is a global nonprofit media organization that supports the world’s nonfiction filmmakers and video journalists to tell bold stories that change the world.
