William Wheeler is an independent investigative journalist and producer who has worked around the globe. He's known for his work on Showtime's Emmy-winning doc series The Trade, Matthew Heineman's feature doc The First Wave, and the Emmy-winning Netflix series Remastered. He's also the author of "State of War," a book about the American roots and international of MS-13. He is a graduate of Columbia's Journalism School and School of International and Public Affairs.
