Brad is the founder of award-winning 371 Productions. He won the 2022 Primetime Emmy for Exceptional Merit in Documentary for When Claude Got Shot (SXSW 2021 premiere, PBS Independent Lens). His film American Reckoning (with producer/director Yoruba Richen) premiered in 2022 on PBS' Frontline and was nominated for an Emmy and Peabody. His films As Goes Janesville (PBS Independent Lens) and Ashe '68 (VR premiere at Sundance) were each nominated for Emmys. He won DuPonts for Hard Earned (Al Jazeera, with Kartemquin Films) and Ghosts of Attica (BBC, Court TV), and a Peabody for the radio series Precious Lives. His most recent film, American Coup: Wilmington 1898 (co-directed with Yoruba Richen) premiered in October 2024 at the Hot Springs Documentary film festival and on television in November on PBSs series, American Experience. It is streaming on YouTube, PBS.org, and Amazon. Brad is currently producing a film with Time Studios about the band Living Colour with W. Kamau Bell directing. He is producing and directing a film about Kyle Rittenhouse's 2020 shootings in partnership with Texas Crew/Pantheon. As a producer and director, his work extends to VR, scripted television and film, and hes in development on a musical.
