Tomaso Semenzato is a Freelance Documentary Filmmaker, Editor and Location Sound Recordist. The relationships with the environment and people surrounding him have always struck him in wondrous ways. Growing up in the countryside by the river, yet near enough to the city, he was able to decipher through the two very different worlds. He soon discovered, thanks to an old family movie camera, that he could create even more environments and worlds, and these naive films won him his first enthusiastic audiences and true friends.’ – ‘As his experience broadened, he engaged in a particular love and fascination for documentary film and the crafting of film through archival contents. Master Degree in Visual Arts at ECAL in Lausanne, Switzerland – Bachelor Degree in Visual and Performing Arts at IUAV University of Venice, Italy. From 2016 to 2020 Assistant Editor at Geller/Goldfine Productions, under the mentorship of documentary filmmakers Dan Geller and Dayna Goldfine, in San Francisco, California.
