About

My passion for nonfiction work as allowed me to camera operate and photograph talking head interviews, b-roll, and photos for large nonprofits and also news organizations like BBC. My videography work recently as also included doc-style content for brands like Birkenstocks. Over the past decade, I have demonstrated my production expertise at various studios and networks. One highlight includes “Black Market” for VICE TV. As a production manager and field producer, I supported story producers, directors and crew as we travelled across the US and abroad in support of host Michael K. Williams and his team. Together, we continued the journey into the dangerous world of illicit trade – an endeavor that VICE News has championed. My background lies in researching and editing stories, as well as coordinating and motivating teams to produce energizing content. Most recently, I discovered the story of Roger Banks, a 26-year-survivor of HIV. After months of interviewing and developing extensive research, Roger agreed to let me tell his story in the form of a short documentary, which I produced and directed. The documentary titled “Together Again” is about Roger’s experience reliving the terror of the AIDS crisis, a viral pandemic, during the first outbreak of COVID-19 in New York City. Recently the short was an official selection and premiered at Frameline Film Festival, a nonprofit and the longest-running LGBTQ+ festival in America. The film was also accepted to screen at “QueerX” in Los Angeles and Academy-award-qualifying festival “Out On Film” in Atlanta where it won an Audience Award for Best Animated Short.
