With over a decade of visual storytelling experience, Sarah has built a diverse career as a photojournalist, cinematographer, director, editor and producer in digital storytelling. She is known and celebrated for her skill in telling personal, intimate, emotional narratives.
Sarah studied Journalism at Penn State University and earned a Master’s degree in Photography and Multimedia at S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. Her work has been featured in numerous publications, including The New York Times, ESPN, NPR, and Bloomberg.
Sarah was a producer with Al Jazeera on their AJ+ digital channel, where she worked on a variety of short social justice documentaries across the United States, including the award-winning Zipcodes with Imaeyen. She also worked in higher educational marketing and communications at Washington State University and, most recently, as a Producer for Slow Clap Productions.
