About

Sarah Haas is an independent producer with experience spanning documentaries to feature scripted films. She believes a well told story builds empathy and helps make the world a kinder place. After two seasons working at the Sundance Institutes Filmmaker Labs in production logistics, she moved to Nashville, TN and earned credits on film & TV projects including Ken Burns series, COUNTRY MUSIC, while seasonally working for film festivals like True/False, Telluride, and AFI Docs. Recently, Sarah managed production for a hybrid film featuring singer- songwriter Elizabeth Cook directed by Katy Chevigny (Becoming, Dick Johnson is Dead) and field produced 1 of the 2-part HBO docuseries PHOENIX RISING featuring Evan Rachel Wood and directed by Amy Berg (The Case Against Adnan Syed, West of Memphis). Currently, she is acting as Line Producer for GIRLS STATE, a feature documentary directed by Amanda McBaine & Jesse Moss (Boys State, Overnighters) on Apple TV+ April 2024.
