Rose LaForest is a Chicago-based producer and documentary filmmaker. She has produced work for Detroit PBS and recently received her Master's degree in Broadcast and Video Journalism from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism. With experience in fiction and non-fiction storytelling, LaForest has involved herself in every part of the production process. Her expertise ranges from camera to sound to photography, but her long-term goal is to produce feature-length documentaries. She is incredibly passionate about solution-oriented stories, health science, and expanding the conversation around media ethics.
