Half the time Richard Yeagley spends directing documentaries that he produces or is commissioned to produce. The other half of his time, he works as a producer/editor/shooter on a freelance basis.
His background includes managing all aspects of production from conception to delivery of non-fiction media content, as well as spearheading marketing and distribution efforts. Within the production world, he is a multi-hyphenate director/creative producer.
Highlights of his experience include the following:
• Directing and producing a feature length documentary, :The Sunday Sessions," which received an all-rights distribution deal from First Run Features.
• Producing the first season of a serialized, narrative non-fiction radio documentary, "Town of the Big House," for Baltimore’s NPR affiliate, WYPR.
• Producing, directing, writing, and editing a feature length documentary, entitled The Tradesmen: Making an Art of Work, which aired on over 200 PBS member stations and received an exclusive deal with Hulu.
