Mileydy Artiles attended FAMCA, ISA, Cuba, and graduated in the USA with a B.A.S in Film. her work as cinematographer for documentaries like Islam in Latin America since 2011, was recipient of the Carnegie Foundation for the Investigation of Social Sciences and shown at PBS. Decolonize Justice commissioned by Latino Justice, Monarcas Commissioned by Oolite, and Call Me Lucky, currently in development is also under her eye. Fiction’s Cinematography for short films like, Crisalidas, LA, Ellas, Ten Dollars are also in her curriculum. Interview with Marilyn, was awarded with Best Cinematography at the Independent Short Awards in LA in 2019. Today she works on a genre feature Side Effects currently in production. Editing documentaries like Islam in Latin America, advising for Call Me Lucky, editing, color correcting, and creating the sound design for short fiction like Crisalidas, LA, Ellas, Ten Dollars, among commercials/promos and music videos created under PrimeGaze media opens her diapason to a crossed media editor. Adding to it is the experience editing promos, and news, for Univision and mini-documentaries with Newlink.
