For the Associated Press, he covered the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, and civil unrest in Cairo and Syria. As a documentary filmmaker, he produced innovative films for UNICEF in Iraq and filmed celebrity ambassador trips for the International Rescue Committee in Uganda, Serbia, and Greece. Ford's journey in visual storytelling began in Hollywood, where he honed his craft as a set lighting technician on acclaimed productions such as "The West Wing," "Alias," "Along Came Polly," and "Spider-Man 2." Today, as an award-winning writer, independent journalist, and filmmaker based in Barcelona, Spain, Ford continues to pursue diverse international projects.
