María José [MJ] Arauz is a bilingual (English and Spanish) Documentary Producer and Business Affairs with experience on documentary feature films and shorts films in Honduras, the US and Canada with a passion for elevating BIPOC Latin voices. She has a Film and Television Business Graduate Certificate from Centennial College. MJ is a member and collaborator of the Collective of Honduran Women Filmmakers, Woman Filmmakers of CA (Central America), Brown Girls Doc Mafia Collective, and WIFT+. Currently she is working as Industry Programmer of Funds and Labs in Hot Docs Canadian International Documentary Festival.
