About
Maleah Welsh is a Bay Area artist interested in experimenting with documentary film, photography, and written word. Born in Santa Cruz California she was first inspired to create documentary films in order to bring awareness to the houseless population's needs. This interest expanded during two years of solo travel and was brought to fruition through San Francisco States cinema department. Maleah is now a full-time student working towards a bachelor's degree. After graduation, she hopes to travel with her work and apply her art to social justice efforts and migration issues, working with communities to facilitate positive change.
