About
Lauren works on all stages of digital storytelling at Dot Lemon and in her freelance projects: interviewing, filming, editing, and promotion. Her work at Dot Lemon is focused on both short-form content highlighting artists and small businesses in DC and long-form content in the form of documentaries and contract work for local businesses and international organizations.
In her personal and freelance work, Lauren explores cultural histories of music and food, the Middle East and North Africa, the American Deep South, nostalgia, and family histories. She is currently working on an oral history film comprised of interviews, family home videos and photos, and archival documents.
Lauren is a master's student at the Center for Contemporary Arab Studies at Georgetown University.
