Lauren Ellis is a producer and series developer who loves the scavenger hunt behind a good story. She built a mini-doc series at Seeker Media that profiles scientific endeavors and institutions on the frontlines of discovery. Focusing on the intersection of science, technology, and philosophy, she’s interviewed atom wranglers, organism engineers, historians, and climatologists about their work and what makes them tick. Prior, Lauren has produced shows for Discovery Digital Networks, Al Jazeera Media Network, and Current TV. She got her start working as a case researcher for an investigative reporter, spotlighting the FBI's use of informants and its manufactured web of fake terror plots. Lauren holds a B.S. from the University of California, Berkeley.
