Kathy Bruner is a director/producer passionate about nonfiction storytelling. "Last Year at the Crossing" was Kathy’s first feature length documentary and was her MFA thesis film for Vermont College of Fine Arts. Kathy teaches film and media production at Taylor University in Upland, Indiana, where empowering and collaborating with undergraduate filmmakers is her passion. Kathy is married to John, a fiction filmmaker, and the two enjoy spending time with their adult son Andrew and their golden retriever mix Cali. When Kathy’s not teaching or making films, she can be found in her perennial garden or reading nonfiction.
