As a documentary film director fluent in English, Portuguese and Spanish, I value connection to my characters above all. I specialize in crafting intimate narratives by embedding myself with the story. It's all about planning for the unplanned moments.

About

Julian Busquets Moura is a documentary film director that embeds himself with his characters, creating close bonds to document intimate moments ranging from threatened indigenous communities in the amazon to the illegal skateboard subculture in Cuba. Julian currently sits on the board of the The People's Planet Project focused on equipping indigenous communities with filmmaking skills and cartography tools to capture environmental change on the ground, first hand. Currently he's in post production for the documentary, Lugar De Escuta, about a working men's group that gets together to talk about masculinity. He is in development for "Women of Earth '' a series offering a glimpse into women that have safeguarded ancestral wisdom from the source for generations in small communities throughout the world.
