Jamie Gonçalves is a Brasilian-U.S. producer. He was a Sundance Institute Creative Producing Fellow in 2018. Projects he is currently producing have support from Sundance, IMCINE, and the Venice Biennale, among others. Previously, he served as a programming associate at the True/False Film Fest from 2011 - 2016. Filmmaker Magazine named him as one of the 25 New Faces of Independent Film in 2015. His list of productions include Killing Them Safely, Caballerango, Balloonfest, The Water Slide, Las Nubes, and upcoming works by Kamau Bilal, Ilana Coleman, Juan Pablo González, Edwin Martinez, Nathan Truesdell, Nathan Silver, Isidore Bethel, and Chy Chi. He is a founder of Sin Sitio Cine, a collective based in Mexico and the U.S., focused on producing works by directors working within their own communities.
