Hannah Vicente-Kliot is an award-winning documentary filmmaker and investigative journalist based in New York City.
Hannah was a staff producer at HBO for four years, creating premium nonfiction content for Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel. During her tenure, Hannahs work was honored with five Emmy Awards and garnered nine Emmy nominations.
While at HBO, Hannah led a diverse array of productions both domestically and internationally. She has reported on athletes at war in Ukraine, investigated a national Bitcoin movement catalyzed by a group of surfers in El Salvador, immersed herself in the world of professional child bull riding in the American South, and unearthed a sex abuse crisis in the sport of youth cheerleading.
Hannah also produced the short narrative film Look at Me, which premiered in competition at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2021.
Prior to HBO, Hannah worked as a member of the Investigative Unit at CNBC, producing long-form investigations on cryptocurrency schemes and other financial crimes.
Hannah is a graduate of Northwestern Universitys Medill School of Journalism, where she reported extensively on potentially wrongful convictions as a selected member of the Medill Justice Project.
Hannah is currently producing an independent documentary on psychedelic therapy.
