About

Born in Siberia, Russia, Tanya is based in New York. She is an editor and documentary researcher. She is known for her work as an Editor on feature docs - "Oyate Woyaka" - The People Speak, (2022, USA), Absurdity of Certainty (2021, USA, Italy), Am I Beautiful (2020, Russia, Germany); short docs -Free Kick (2019, Russia), Homeless (2019, Russia); short narrative films - SIX (2022, USA), MilkyWay (2021, USA). Recently she decided to immerse herself in filmmaking and explore the experimental style of documentary art. Her directorial debut “Village Vibe” premiered at LIFF (LBI, NJ) in 2018. She has been on the creative team of a number of films and also works as a documentary researcher for European productions (Boogalo Film, Spain; Toolbox Films, Denmark; Diana Naecke, Germany, etc). She worked as a Field Producer for PPTV Sport China (football doc series) in Moscow. Since 2020, she is a Member of The Alliance of Documentary Editors.
