Gillian Goodwin is a director, writer, and producer living and working in Atlanta. She is inspired by directors who have made some of the most iconic and unflinching films of our time including Alex Gibney, Gina Prince-Bythewood, Barry Jenkins, Steven Spielberg, Spike Lee, Ava DuVernay and Martin Scorsese. Gillian holds a BS in Communication and Media Studies from Kennesaw State University and an MFA in Filmmaking from the Maryland Institute College of Art.

The Video Consortium is a global nonprofit media organization that supports the world’s nonfiction filmmakers and video journalists to tell bold stories that change the world.
