Anna Brannon

Anna's career as a filmmaker began in 2017 when she started working on commercial film and photo sets in St. Louis, MO as a Camera Operator, AC, and photo assistant. But her love for non-fiction filmmaking began in college where she spent her time volunteering to create videos for non-profits in her hometown and in Central America. Anna graduated from Greenville University with a double major in Digital Media and Spanish in 2017. In 2022, Anna independently produced and directed her first short doc about a group of Kazakh women who created their own local-led, slow travel program in response to the exploitation and neglect they encountered while working with large tour companies. In 2023, she began production on a short documentary about Shalini Bhajjan, the founder of a Missouri ultra running group, with the goal of elevating women leaders in the sport as well as showing off a region of the country that is often overlooked in outdoor media. Most recently, she has been working full-time as an editor at Fathom Studios. When she's not editing or directing, you can find her running on trails or hanging out with her cat, Kevin.
